These meditation classes are open to all levels where you can find mental peace and tranquillity as the mind is clam and silent.

Mindful Meditation is a state of 'thoughtless awareness' where you reduce stress/treat responses of the mind without reducing alertness and effectiveness. It increases clarity, reduces stress and anxiety as well as improving your overall health and well-being.
This 6-week course is for beginners, it offers guided meditations, introduction to many mindful practices and meditation techniques
You will discover which approach suits you and your lifestyle and explore the many benefits of regular mindful meditation;- Mediate for better health, to sharpen your mind, to be more aware of the present moment, to balance your emotions, to reduce worry, anxiety and depression and mediate to improve memory and decision making.
COURSE OUTLINE
Week One - Introduction to Mindful Meditation (for beginners), - Gain an understanding of what is mindful meditation, how it works and how it can be introduced into your daily life. There will be some guided meditations and a chance to work on your meditation postures and awareness of your breathing.
Week Two - Benefits of Meditation and effects on the Brain: Recognise how your mind works when we are mindful Vs mindlessness (auto pilot). Discover the difference between relaxation and meditation along with different styles of meditation techniques. Use of guided meditations on breath and an exercise to help you to clear your mind.
Week Three - Awareness of Breath and emotions; this week we explore the breath and the power of breathing mindfully and with awareness. We learn about how to slow down our thoughts to reduce our stress levels. This week’s meditations include body scan and mindful breathing meditations.
Week Four - Chakras: We’ve all heard that meditation can improve our overall health and wellbeing; Awareness of our 7 charkas’ and how they align with our emotions are a key part of this. This week’s guided meditations help with clearing any blockages in our aura and chakras.
Week Five - Forgiveness & Compassion: we all want to be loving and compassionate, but it takes effort and practice. You can forgive yourself and others once you can let go of needing to be ‘right’. This week we focus on positive self-esteem and how to generate love and compassion for yourself and others. Meditations will be on forgiveness, compassion and kindness for yourself, your family, friends and others.
Week Six - Mindfulness: Now you know how to calm you mind, you are ready to explore meditations that help you to be more mindful of what you are doing and thinking. This week you will learn that slowing down and practising mindfulness will expand your understanding of the mind, body and emotions. Guided meditations will help to balance your mind, thoughts and increase patience.

Mindfulness - Individual Session - $60
Who should practice mindfulness?
Anyone can do mindfulness practice. There are no barriers. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what your physical ability is, Mindfulness is familiar to us because it’s what we already do.
It is the ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or being overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
As you spend time practising mindfulness, you’ll probably find yourself feeling kinder, calmer, and more patient. These shifts in your experience are likely to generate changes in other parts of your life as well. It can help you become more playful, maximise your enjoyment of a long conversation with a friend over a cuppa and then wind down for a relaxing night’s sleep.

Reiki - Calming Sessions - $60
Reiki is a gentle way to relieve your stress, it calms the mind and relaxes you. Adults and children will benefit from their first Reiki treatment, while others work through deeper issues with additional treatments. Everyone’s needs are different.
Reiki has had a positive affect on all forms of illness and negative conditions. This includes minor things like head or stomach aches, colds, flu, tension and anxiety as well as serious illness like heart disease, cancer, leukemia, etc. The side effects of regular medical treatments have also been reduced or eliminated. This includes the negative effects of chemotherapy, post operative pain and depression as well as improving the healing rate and reducing the time needed to stay in the hospital.

My brain based coaching program will be built around your specific needs, generally covering;- Understanding how your brain works - key insights about the brain when we create new habits or when we are under too much stress, Goal setting - identifying 3 main goals, Developing key strategies - actions to support, help and track your achievements,
I will also introduce you to different model and techniques that will support your success; connections to your values, decision making, regulating emotions, improving your time management skills etc.
